Hearing Aid Glasses for Cearvol
This design breaks the long standing limitation of traditional hearing aids being labeled as medical devices, integrating professional hearing aid technology with consumer smart glasses to achieve a perfect combination of functionality and daily wearability. The core design concept revolves around solving the pain points of hearing impaired users who are reluctant to wear conventional hearing aids due to their single function and medical style appearance, focusing on non medicalization, multifunctionality to make the device seamlessly integrated into daily life.

Lyra integrates professional hearing-aid tech with consumer smart glasses, breaking traditional hearing aids' 'medical device' limitation. Core configs: 6-array directional mic (accurate pickup and noise reduction), rotatable ear canal-proximal speaker (40dB max gain for clarity), with adaptive noise reduction and acoustic feedback algorithms for complex sound fields. Supports myopia/presbyopia/progressive lens customization, delivering 'hearing and vision and daily wear' all-in-one experience.
Smart glasses, Hearing aid function, Wireless charging, Acoustic tuning, Rotating speaker.
Temples: 0.8mm TR90 injection molding. Electronics: multilayer FPC, SiP with Bluetooth SoC & PMIC, LDS antenna, custom-shaped micro battery. Assembly: active alignment for optical engine & waveguide, adhesive sealing (IP56), fixture press-fitting.
Wireless charging alignment: custom coil misalignment reduces efficiency; magnetic positioning + multi-coil array + Q-value detection for adaptive matching. Acoustic tuning: open-ear speaker has sound leakage & weak bass; dual-diaphragm inverted cavity + psychoacoustic EQ + bone conduction assist, anechoic chamber optimization.
Launched in Shenzhen, June 2025; now in prototype testing.
The design inspiration comes from hearing-impaired users' pain points: existing hearing aids have single functions (no multimedia connection) and medical-like looks, making users reluctant to wear them daily. Thus, we focus on 'non-medical and multi-functional', using a rotatable speaker (better clarity), 4 scenes and 4 hearing presets, and a stylish glasses design to make the device effective and integrated into daily life.
