GetirFinans reimagines what a bank can feel like. It is the first digital bank born inside a super app ecosystem, where groceries, payments, and finance come together seamlessly. Its innovation lies in empathy. It knows when you might need credit, creates your card instantly, and delivers it in minutes. It turns transactional moments into emotional ones. For Getir, this experience extends the brand DNA of instant comfort from food to finance. It delivers premium, effortless, and accessible banking at Getir speed.

Production Technology

The product was designed through iterative design sprints using interactive prototypes. SwiftUI and Compose were used to ensure high performance and responsive interfaces. Courier verification flows were technically integrated with onboarding systems. Polygon based delivery logic and proximity rules enabled reliable card delivery within minutes while maintaining security and scalability.

Design Challenge

The main challenge was merging regulated banking processes with ultra fast delivery expectations. Internally, banking requires trust and accuracy, while externally it must comply with legal identity verification and logistics constraints. Designing a flow that feels instant but remains secure required aligning finance, product, and courier operations into one seamless experience without overwhelming users.

Project Duration

The project started in August 2024 in Istanbul and finished in October 2025

Operation Flow

GetirFinans onboarding works like ordering groceries. Users open an account inside the Getir app, complete identity verification, and receive their physical card within minutes via a Getir courier. The flow adapts in real time. If courier verification fails, users continue instantly with video verification. Clear guidance, minimal steps, and friendly micro interactions reduce anxiety and make banking feel fast, human, and effortless.

Research

This project used mixed research to reduce onboarding time and delivery friction in digital banking. Usability testing, journey mapping, and A B testing were conducted using interactive prototypes, analytics, and delivery simulations. Research focused on digitally active banking users. Results showed that speed and reliability were critical to trust. Courier based onboarding increased adoption and confidence, leading to faster conversion, higher satisfaction, and new expectations for instant banking experiences.

Inspiration

Getir transformed everyday convenience by delivering groceries in minutes to millions of users. GetirFinans was inspired by extending this same sense of immediacy into the world of finance, making premium banking accessible to all. Built with the clarity and speed of e-commerce journeys, users can open an account within minutes and receive their card through a Getir courier, just like a regular order. From motion design to microcopy, every touchpoint is crafted to make banking feel simple, human, and naturally effortless.
