Production Technology
In this project, we planned all shots in the storyboard, and make a demo motion in 3D software, so that we can prepare all the materials and props before the video shooting. And we try to put some Macao features and elements into the animation in the form of installation art, so that the entire advertisement will show the different characteristics of this year's Macao Light Festival.
Design Challenge
The concept of turning the entire Light Festival into a giant birthday cake, was difficult to achieve at first. Through many special effects of pre-production and post-production, the whole concept can be perfectly displayed.
Project Duration
The project started in October 2019 in Macau and finished in November 2019 in Macau, and was exhibited in Macau in December 2019.

Research
In the early days of the project, we used a lot of different expressions. How to connect the contents of the entire light festival and with the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, after repeated reflections, finally decided to create a birthday party, every Macao residents and visitors together to participate in this meaningful moment!
Inspiration
Coincides with the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, our vision lighting section is like a whole birthday celebration, invites Macao residents and visitors together to participate in this meaningful Hing lighting celebration! By participating in different themed lighting installations, 3D mapping, interactive games, etc., it is like being in a giant birthday cake, following the footprint of light, feeling the festival atmosphere layer by layer!
