Unique Properties
To provide the Marriott Group W hotel with artworks that closely cooperate with architecture and interior design, including contemporary sculpture, art painting, small sculpture, contemporary multimedia video and so on. Our team start from unique design creation to implementation and installation to the on-site space. The project started in the summer of 2017 and was installed in August 2018. By August 2019, the W hotel has been open for one year.

Design Challenge
The profound regional culture of the ancient capital brings unique artistic elements to Xi'an W. Chinese contemporary artists collide and merge with eastern philosophy and world contemporary art. Explore the brand philosophy of W, temptation, escaping, and insiders, forming a strong contemporary art culture for Xi'an W.
Project Duration
The project started in the summer of 2017 in Xi'an and finished in August 2018 in Xi'an. By August 2019, the W Hotel has been open for one year.
Operation Flow
All these sculptures, installations, paintings are just still in their position, but when the guests travel through, they will find there is a subtle link between all the works, they are telling a story, the works are all inspired by the culture of Tang Dynasty and perform in a modern way, which fits the W spirit, people will get lots of fun when they walk by, and they will have the eager to take photos of all ot if, they will become the hot spot for W hotel.
Research
The entire idea connects the contemporary nature of the W Hotel brand, Xi'an's unique urban history, culture and the art narrative of the Tang Dynasty.
Inspiration
Because Xi'an is the ancient capital of Tang Dynasty, it has been discovered for the classic symbol of our story which is the peach from Tang Dynasty, and then extended to the land of peach blossoms, peach trees, peach blossoms, and the peach seeds, they are infinitely transformed. With the contemporary expression in the architectural space, creating a series of artworks through W hotel.
Project Overview
Atgbeyond Xi'an W Sculpture has been a Silver winner in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill. Silver A' Design Award recipients are recognized for their contribution to raising industry standards and advancing the practice of design. Their work often incorporates original innovations and elicits a strong emotional response, making a notable impact on the improvement of everyday life.
