This project is an illustration for GeziWo Park. The whole illustration is divided into three different styles parts. How to unify the styles of the picture is the challenge of project. Taking "Night of Fantastic Animals" as the first part, the moonlight illuminates the mysterious forest, with many birds flying through it. The huge light source breaks the tranquil scene, as if it is the key to a fantasy journey. The second part is "Dream", with many colors covering the whole picture, The mermaid elves are swimming in the blue ocean.

Unique Properties

Integrating humanistic and natural elements, we embark on a dream-making journey with the theme of Night of Magical Animals. The whole illustration is divided into three parts. Taking Night of Fantastic Animals as the first part, the moonlight illuminates the mysterious forest, with many birds flying through it. The second part is Dream, with many colors covering the whole picture, including many landmark buildings in GeziWo Park. Combining modern technology with ancient culture. The third part is Voyage. The mermaid elves are swimming in the blue ocean. The ship is sailing into the distance.

Production Technology

This long scroll piece can accommodate most size applications. These three parts can be used alone or in conjunction with other derivatives in subsequent commercial applications, such as postcards, posters and other creative works.

The project started in Beijing in June 2023 and ended in August 2023

Research

A considerable amount of project information was collected in the early stage of the work. The natural features, architectural uniqueness, and humanistic features of Pigeon Nest Park were all reflected in the later drawings. Strive to ensure the unity of the picture and the unity of the theme. In the middle of the project, drew a large number of line drawings and created separate layers for them to facilitate commercial use. In the later stage of the project, not only completed the illustration content, but also created 4 IP characters and a set of vector graphics and text designs.

Inspiration

This design is a commercial illustration created for the IP Geziwo Park. It is inspired by the scenery and cultural landscape of Geziwo Park.

Project Overview

Geziwo Park Series Illustrations has been a Silver winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
