How to integrate the art style of the 19th century into modern creation is our focus
The project started in Beijing in January 2024 and was completed in Beijing in February 2024
Applying the architectural graphics and patterns of Ba Gong's house to store spaces and extended products to form a unified visual system can enhance the overall brand identity. By designing visual processing, historical culture is presented in an intuitive form, conveying unique aesthetic values. The design is based on classical aesthetics and historical culture, combined with modern design language, retaining traditional charm while conforming to contemporary aesthetics, thus attracting more consumers' attention and recognition.
As an important landmark on the Wanli Tea Road, the Ba Gong House carries the historical memory of Hankou from the 19th century to the present. In this project, our goal is to showcase its profound historical heritage while conveying aesthetic value through design. By extracting graphics from the architectural features of the Ba Gong house itself, simplifying, reorganizing, and recreating it, this design approach can not only allow consumers to feel the depth of history, but also stimulate their interest through visual appeal.
As an important landmark of the Wanli Tea Road, the Ba Gong House has witnessed the historical changes in Hankou since the 19th century. Taking inspiration from this, a series of pattern designs were created and applied in stores. The pattern of the wallpaper is inspired by the major cities that the Ten Thousand Miles Tea Road passes through, combined with the unique contours, natural beauty, and dynamic animal images of each city. The three sets of pattern designs are based on the architectural features of Ba Gong's house, and through deconstruction and reorganization, create visual symbols that combine historical charm and modern beauty, and integrate them into the overall design of the store.
