Production Technology
Glyphs was used to create the Font family. The Type specimen book was printed as a limited run in offset digital, 4 colors.
Design Challenge
The major challenge was to create a modern San serif based on the traditional forming and adapt them to create a new visual language.
Project Duration
The project was started in June 2023 and finished in September 2023
Operation Flow
The typeface is available commerically
Research
Our research began with the origins of the International Style and Swiss type design, creating forms that could be expanded and adapted into new forms.
Inspiration
Inspiration was from the International Style, and the minimalism and clarity of Swiss-type design inspired the letterforms. Foremost was the concept of a geometric sans serif typeface but with an experimental feel.
