The challenge is how to balance maneuverability and endurance while ensuring detection accuracy and reliability.

Production Technology

The production of UAVs uses advanced 3D printing technology, CNC precision machining, and carbon fiber composite molding technology to ensure its lightness and durability. At the same time, sensors and electronic equipment use high-precision automated assembly processes to improve production efficiency and ensure equipment reliability.

Design Challenge

Excellent gas sensor integration and detection accuracy and reliability. Development of complex terrain navigation algorithms, and the navigation capabilities of drones in complex environments. Need to find a balance between maneuverability and endurance.

Project Duration

It started on May 1, 2022 and ended on June 25, 2022 at LuXun Academy of Fine Arts

Operation Flow

The drone is easy to operate and equipped with an intelligent control system. The operator can remotely control it through a handheld device. The data display and alarm system help operators quickly determine the safety of the environment and take necessary emergency measures.

Research

The design and application of gas detection drones are discussed, aiming to provide solutions for industrial, environmental monitoring and emergency response. The drone is equipped with gas sensors, data transmission, evaluation and detection of harmful gases. High maneuverability adapts to complex terrain, simple operation interface, personnel and emergency use, showing the application prospects in the field of environmental safety and gas monitoring.

Inspiration

By extracting the eagle's diving posture and incorporating lines with a sense of speed into the drone's appearance design, we are committed to pushing petrochemical industry gas inspection to a more efficient future.

Project Overview

Haidongqing Gas Detection Drones has been a Bronze winner in the Futuristic Design award category in the year 2024 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
