Elysium Echoes deconstructs the complex bond between humans and nature, prompting reflection on technological progress and its impact on life and evolution. As humanity's influence grows, a crucial question arises: should we reshape nature in the name of technology? Though the "post-human era" remains uncertain, it echoes a warning—our pursuit to replace the Creator may not unfold as envisioned.

This dynamic installation explores biodiversity and evolution in the transition from humans to post-humans. Comprising three parts—human, transitional forms, and post-human—it rotates continuously, disrupting and recombining stages to simulate evolutionary shifts and new species. The work challenges biological boundaries and provokes thought on evolution, technology, and humanity’s future.
This research uses a speculative, practice-led approach to explore how technological progress reshapes humanity’s relationship with nature in the Anthropocene. Grounded in post-humanist theory, it critiques ethical ambiguities of ecological intervention and envisions alternative evolutionary paths. Through immersive installation art, kinetic prototyping, and participatory observation, a rotating structure (human/transitional/post-human) simulates evolutionary disruption. Data from 87 interviews, audience analytics, and impact simulations reveal a tension between techno-optimism and ecological humility, with 73% reconsidering humanity’s stewardship. The work advocates for ethical, interdisciplinary governance and positions design as a mediator between science and societal values.
In the post-human era, I explore how shifting environments and productivity levels shape human gene selection. Technological progress aids adaptation, yet sudden ecological upheaval risks collapsing our systems, regressing productivity and forcing genetic adaptation to dominate survival. Here, mutation emerges as life’s most reliable tool.
