Typeface is a calendar designed around the concept of the typeface. The set contains four sheets, consisting of the months from January to December, punched out in an original typeface. You can assemble the sheets into calendar units that each display three months of the year. Quality designs have the power to modify space and transform the minds of its users. TYPEFACE is a calendar designed around the concept of the typeface. The set contains four sheets, consisting of the months from January to December, punched out in an original typeface. Production Technology

The TYPEFACE calendar is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies in Japan. We produce original pure white cardboard and reduce parts fasten points to the minimum for design excellence.

Project Duration

Calendar 2020 “TYPEFACE” launched in July 2019.

Operation Flow

It becomes a three month calendar when assembling one sheet. This calendar can be assembled easily without using glue or scissors.

Inspiration

I designed three-dementional calendars which are practical, and can be displayed as a room interior. The TYPEFACE calendar is an charming motif over ages, sex, and border.

Project Overview

Typeface Calendar has been a Platinum winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Platinum A' Design Award is recognized for honoring designs that stand at the forefront of creativity and innovation. It is the highest accolade bestowed by the A' Design Awards, acknowledging works that blend remarkable innovation with impactful societal contributions. These designs not only showcase exceptional artistic and technical proficiency but also highlight their creators' commitment to advancing the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology. Recipients of this award are celebrated for their role in shaping the aesthetics and trends of our time, contributing significantly to the enhancement of quality of life and promoting sustainable development.
