Sustainable Design, IoT, intelligent sensor, Green flower pot, plant pot
IoT technology, WIFI Connection, Intelligent Sensors are the most essential techniques that are used in the iPlant.
Finding sensors for plant growth factors and embedding intelligent components in the pot is the most challenging part of iplant.
It started in Tehran, Iran in March 2019 and finished in May 2019.
Sensors check soil and plant status and send this information an electronic board. Embedded software will check this information to a standard level and will send a notification to a mobile application to make the user aware of plant status. All this mechanism will help the user to care plant completely.
Many peoples have plants at home or office, but they could not care for them because caring plants need necessary agricultural information and skills. Also, irrigation is a significant concern for ordinary peoples. Plant fertilizer, temperature, environment light, and many other factors should be considered for caring plants.
The origin of this idea is given from the Ozon layer. Growing plants' difficulties in home and office by untrained or without agricultural knowledge peoples was our concern to design an intelligent flower pot. Taking care of plants will help humans to have a more delicate environment, better and fresher weather, more oxygen, healthier psychological atmosphere, but not everyone could do it.
