All Here is an online virtual social platform that aims to help users maintain long-distance intimate relationships by creating a social atmosphere with a sense of scenario realism through virtual images and virtual rooms. The application is based on the elements of maintaining intimate relationships and forms an overall framework around emotional expression, gesture interaction, common tasks, and interactive memories.
User Interface Design, Emotional Design, User Experience
At the conceptual design phase, we conducted brainstorming, mind mapping, scene interviews, etc. At the detailed design phase, we used Figma,Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Experience Design.
The biggest challenge in the design is how to provide a better experience for the users in the process of using the project. We should be clear that although the application relies on technical means to provide a social platform for intimacy for the users, the essence should focus more on the emotional experience during the user interaction. The design process is difficult. Therefore, after formulating the design plan and interaction strategy, we need to keep combining practice and exploration, and keep trying and making mistakes to achieve a good user experience.
The project started in October 2021 and finished in January 2022 in Shenzhen.
First enter the app and invite your friends to create different intimacy type rooms, which will be presented in the home page. You and your friend can create your own avatars, which will appear in the room to simulate your situation with your friend. In the home page. You can upload your own schedule and see the schedules of other friends. The app will consolidate the schedules of your friends in that room and present them in a visual format, so that others can easily browse the common free time between friends. At the same time, users can upload their moods and display them along with their avatars. Clicking on a friend's image allows you to chat with them, interact with them symbolically, view common tasks, and access their personal pages. When interacting with your friend, you can create your own symbols, such as vibrate three times to represent missing, or share your heartbeat rate, and the other person will receive your heartbeat rate and the music that matches it. Click on your buddy avatar to enter your buddy's personal page. You can create common tasks between friends, or view a collection of friends' interaction memories, etc. Create a joint task between friends: Enter the task content, duration, number of times, etc., and then ask your friend to create a task, and your friend will accept the request and create the task. At the same time, the progress of the task completion will be displayed during the task. The interactions between you and your friends will be automatically recorded in the friends' memory collection.
Using user-centered design, design requirements were extracted through situational interviews with target users, and detailed user interview worksheets were integrated. This includes user concerns and needs for long-distance intimacy maintenance, factors affecting user user growth, personal preferences, perceptions, living conditions, planning, etc. In the requirements analysis stage, the process model, work activity affinity graph, and hierarchical task lists were constructed, so that the process framework and task interaction model could be established as the basis of conceptual design. In addition, the user experience measurement method of heuristic evaluation was adopted, and the design was adjusted and optimized according to the evaluation results.
Long distances, time difference, epidemic lockdown, etc. prevent people from communicating face to face for long periods of time, reducing communication opportunities and leading to less effective and stable commutation of intimate relationships. All Here focuses on creating scenario-based and emotional social networking platforms to provide a more experiential social platform for intimate relationships.
