Packaging for VIAP
Indulgence. Desire. Chocolate all the way. Imagine Charlie and the chocolate factory. What would a day there look like? The chocolate candies would pop out of their shell and with incredible intensity, they would dance around you, calling you to dance with them and make them yours. First, designers saw them through their imagination and they heard them explode. They looked at them through their shells and they spoke to the soul. Then they designed them. With their sound, their anatomy, the elements of rain, and the intense colors that shout out the endless desire for them.

The logo uses typography inspired by the ‘60s with a round and bold font. The design is inspired by pop-art using bright contrasting colours. The giant product exhibiting the variant, is placed centrally bearing a transparent section for visibility inside the bag. The product in the centre is bisected and treated as a demo illustration in a glimpse of the inner world of the candy-coated ball. The background consists of each variant’s products forming a pattern related to a ‘60s polka dot array.

Plastic Doypack
The project started in October 2021 in Athens and finished in December 2021 in Athens, and was placed in local stores, markets and kiosks in Greece in late January 2022.
The name ‘kellipops’ derives from the greek word ‘keliphos’ meaning ‘shell’ – signifying the chocolate coating and ‘pop’ which is a fun word defining the mood, excitement, sound of crunch, that pleasant surprise on the tongue. It also signifies a pack which pops out when you see it. The idea was to use a combination of colours, shiny surfaces and bold letters, to convey a happy composition and a wonderful mess of the joy of life. A friendly world where nothing is sharp or complicated but innocent, round and nostalgic. Like a Ferris wheel on an amusement ride of taste.
Kellipops Packaging has been a Iron winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
