The light that came in from the long and narrow stained glass windows, illuminated with color, in only a few places. The priest began to preach his word, and more light would come out of his words than through the windows. The composition of space, emotion, and light, was in peace with the surroundings, bringing harmony within.

Project Duration

The project started in April 2019 in Athens and finished in August 2021 in Crete, and was exhibited in Gouverneto Monastery in August 2021

Inspiration

Neptic fathers: Those who abstain from wine drinking. Sober and prudent. With unceasing prayer, constant spiritual practice, sincere repentance and unceasing inclination and purification for a virtuous life.

Project Overview

Gouverneto Monastery Branding has been a Iron winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change. These designs are a testament to the skill and dedication of their creators, showcasing their ability to address real-world challenges through thoughtful design.
