Smart Phone for Transsion
The industry's first use of this infinitely reflective photoelectric technology with artistic characteristics. When the light is turned on not only the color has changed but also can see the 3D three-dimensional light effect so the phone has science fiction properties. It is also interactive, making it possible for users to see text message alerts without opening the screen. The use of this technology allows the originally slim phone to present a 3D visual experience of light.

This project is the infinite reflection of light through the upper and lower plating of the thickness of the cell phone back cover. We need to electroplate the bottom of the back cover with mirror silver, then silkscreen the pattern to be presented, and then deplating to ensure that the pattern area can transmit more light.Mirror silver plating is also applied to the upper trim pieces. In the middle of the two there is a certain thickness, so that the light can be constantly reflected.
Due to the low power of cell phone LED lights, the brightness will decay after the light is reflected many times. We need to constantly adjust the thickness of the coating so as to achieve the amount of light throughput to meet the design effect. The distance reflected between patterns affects the number of visible reflective layers, and we need to constantly adjust the gap between the two layers of coating to achieve an effect that is both perfectly rendered and not too high in the camera area.
The project starts in October 2022 in Shenzhen, China, and is completed in February 2023.
This design allows to change the color of the light through the phone's settings, but also can set different SMS alert light effect. When the light is turned on, consumers can see a picture full of magic. It is an infinite extension of the pattern seen in the slim body.
We have gotten many different forms of applications through our research on cell phone photoelectric effects, and we bring many light effects to our research users to choose from. Many of them are interested in this 3D stereoscopic overlay technology. So we developed this technology together with hardware engineers.
Inspired by Yayoi Kusama's House of Infinite Mirrors, this project uses the limited space to express a mood that links the illusionary space and the real world. These mirrored devices reflect endlessly, projecting the room with the illusion of infinite space. This design applies inspiration to the lighting effect of the phone, which can make the slim phone present infinite space. This is a combination of technology and art, bringing consumers a high level of visual enjoyment.
