Production Technology
Adopting the square box design with top and bottom closure, the outer shell is made of paper and plastic hollowed out, the hollowed-out pattern resembles a yurt, the transparent plastic sheet on the front and back are printed with IP images of singing milk bars and slices of milk, and the patterns and texts on both sides are letterpress printed, reflecting the high-end texture. The inner case is made of opaque paper with illustrations of the Xilin Gol grassland scenery, showing the pure and natural grassland style. When the top and bottom boxes are closed, the cheerful scene of the cheese family singing and dancing in the grassland is shown.
Design Challenge
How to make an attempt to rejuvenate the design of traditional folklore under the principle of green design. Delivering cultural connotations in the Mongolian context to a multilingual consumer audience.
Project Duration
The project was completed in Hangzhou, China, on October 10, 2023.
Operation Flow
The shape of the box is a square box that opens and closes at the top and bottom, and when the top and bottom boxes are closed, it shows the cheerful scene of the cheese family singing and dancing in the grassland.

Inspiration
Xilin Gol cheese packaging draws inspiration from Mongolian culture, green grasslands, and folk customs. The design incorporates elements such as the Mongolian yurt shape, language, pattern art, and rock paintings, using a blue-white and green-white color scheme for an authentic grassland style. The key pattern features the Xilin Gol cheese family's IP, adding a playful touch while emphasizing the product's purity and healthy taste.
