SEER Robotics has developed a wheeled humanoid robot capable of switching motion and work modes, allowing for autonomous adjustments based on task requirements to facilitate task generalization in complex scenarios. In motion mode, the robot can achieve high speed movement of up to 10 m/s by lowering its posture. While in work mode, the robot elevates its posture and utilizes the multi DOF collaboration of its robotic arm, hand, and chassis to effectively perform a wide array of tasks.

Constructed from aluminum alloys and PEEK materials, which have a glass transition temperature exceeding 140°C and can withstand long term use at temperatures up to 260°C, this humanoid robot is designed to endure high temperature industrial environments, such as steel smelting, or operate in hot climates. Additionally, the laser sensor features a defogging coating that prevents water condensation, allowing for a broad operational temperature range from -25°C to 60°C.
The availability of extensive AI training data is the key to developing industrial grade wheeled humanoid robots. SEER is database, constructed over a decade of research and development in industrial robotics, has documented essential execution data, including dynamic path planning, non standard grasping techniques, and responses to usual conditions. This advances the development of industrial grade dual posture wheeled humanoid robots with adaptive learning capabilities.
The project commenced in January 2024 in Shanghai, wrapped up in August 2024 in the same city, and was subsequently exhibited in September 2024 at the Shanghai International Industry Fair.
The process to interact with wheeled humanoid robot: a task such as fetching a water cup can be set through natural language or an APP. The system then generates a 3D map enriched with semantic information. Modularized hardware components, such as a gripping arm or camera, can be assembled as needed, and motion parameters can be adjusted via a graphical interface. Once the task is assigned, the robot utilizes the semantic map to navigate and avoid obstacles until the task is done.
SEER robotics applications cover semi-automated human-machine collaboration, automated production lines, and certain scenarios demanding high precision, such as semiconductor manufacturing. The arm joints and the core controller feature a transparent design, facilitating maintenance checks by staff. The modularized arm and hand enable quick disassembly and replacement. The robust geometric design imparts a sense of stability and strength and embodies mechanical and futuristic senses.
As the community faces an aging population and the imperative to enhance productivity, there is a growing demand for multifunctional and intelligent industrial robots that can fully relieve humans from intense, risky, and repetitive labor. The rapid advancement of AI technology, coupled with SEER Robotics' multimodal adaptability, enables the robot to achieve true end to end intelligence across various scenarios.
