Collage Artwork for Kaoruko Iizuka
When she makes these artworks, she puts a lot of emphasis on the harmony between natural air and smell, and most of her work contains plants and fruits. This is especially a work that expresses peaceful coexistence with life. Feeling the chirping of birds, the breath of people, and the soft sunlight. Artworks can be appreciated and enjoyed, or added to one of the colors of someone's life. Kaoruko would be very happy if her work could have such a role for someone.

She created this artwork in Photoshop using vintage images and images of purchased plants.
When people initial look at this artwork it is easy to assume that it was simply made. In reality though, while thinking about color balance, geometry and negative space concept, the act of creating a balance between all three techniques requires careful planning organization and vision of the end goal even before the the first crop is made.
The artwork was created in Tokyo in April 2019. It took about 45 minutes to create.
Artworks can be appreciated and enjoyed, or added to one of the colors of someone’s life. Kaoruko would be very happy if her work could have such a role for someone.
For this artwork Kaoruko considered artworks in the public domain which were royalty-free and had collected them over the course of her multi year-long career as an artist. No particular inspiration was taken from other people’s work but on the contrary by observing nature and how it coexists with the human kind, she was able to correlate and assemble appropriate artworks to create this particular collage.
She loves the grandeur, mystery and tenderness of nature, and for some reason she wants to cry when she feels or touches some of them. One day, while she was having a picnic on the grass, there were a few little birds playing peacefully around her. She was inspired by this work when she felt the warmth of the sun, the comfort of the wind, and their lives close to her.
