It is a semi-personalized inclusive fashion brand that allows customers to choose from more than 1,600 patterns of size regardless of their body type, disability or sexuality at affordable price. With the motto of "the right things for the right people, in the right quantities," the brand involves people with disabilities and sexual minorities in the development process from the planning stage, starts cutting the fabric only after receiving a request, and makes only what is needed.

We reflected the voices of both the academic and clinical opinions and findings of medical and welfare professionals and experts, and the issues that can only be understood by those who are experiencing it in their daily lives. We have achieved a design specification that allows for over 1600 possible combinations. At SOLIT, we have streamlined the work process and created a made-to-order model that allows us to maintain a medium price range while retaining customizability.
The hardest part is to design patterns that truly fits those who cannot fit into clothes that are sold in the market. Some of them may have disabilities, some of them have specific needs in their clothes. We keep discuss with academic, clinical and welfare professionals.
The project started in Sep.2020 in Japan
With the motto of "the right things for the right people, in the right quantities," the brand involves people with disabilities and sexual minorities in the development process from the planning stage, starts cutting the fabric only after receiving a request, and makes only what is needed in the right quantities. Our goal is to create an "all-inclusive" society that accepts a diverse range of people and does not assume waste in production, leaving no one or nothing behind, including nature, animals, and the global environment.
Interview, consult and discussion with medical and welfare professionals and experts, as well as those who are experiencing issues in wearing clothes in their daily lives provided us with insights when designing patterns. For example, to add extra adding ribbing to sleeves and jacket is essential for wheel chair users. This can be used to protect the arms from rubbing against the wheels and losing them when the wheelchair is running on its own, or to make it easier to roll up the arms. In another example, people with quadriplegia have had difficulty putting on and taking off items that have buttons or jackets that require rolling the shoulders. Our products made those customization possible and users have told us that they are now able to participate in society through clothing.
Ever since I was a little, I have felt that I was an ugly person.I felt this especially in the fitting rooms, where I entered in the hope that I might be able to change. There are many people who cannot wear existing clothes due to design or structural problems. We have been working with medical and welfare professionals, wheelchair users, dwarfism, and other people who have been experiencing problems with clothing from the planning stage.
