Design Challenge
The biggest challenge of the project was the consideration and design of the font structure, which took a lot of time for each character. In addition, the design of information visualization has been well thought out. The addition of augmented reality is a highlight for they.
Project Duration
The project began in September 2021 in Liaoning, China, and ended in October. It will be exhibited at the Museum of Chinese Characters in November 2021
Operation Flow
his project aims to give people a better understanding of Chinese traditional compiled fonts. The poster presents basic information of the font in "Yi Shan Shi", people can see the 3D model of the font by scanning the TWO-DIMENSIONAL code, increase the fun in the experience
Research
The project is part of a pilot study of ancient characters aimed at unlocking the mysteries of Chinese seal characters. They collected hundreds of data, yi Mountain stone as an example to study the character of seal cutting, structure, writing. The project has also aroused a response in the society. Many people who are interested in traditional culture think my research is very meaningful and interesting, just like a dictionary with carved characters.
Inspiration
Tablet inscription calligraphy is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. This project to cobble book "yi Mountain carved stone" as the design language, on the innovative design of traditional culture.The original stone has been lost, its style and artistic status is still epoch-making significance. The purpose of this design is to extract the few in the complex, find the breakthrough way where the spirit is, the tradition can still have a new interpretation.
