Production Technology
The factory is entrusted to use 3D printing technology to make samples and feedback the details of implementation. After confirmation, the molds will be customized and developed in batches. The appearance of the lipstick is made of black acrylic, the logo is inlaid with metal sheets, and the acrylic of the inner tank is painted with metal and embedded with magnets. Make it easy to develop and deliver beautiful sound and premium textures.
Design Challenge
The design language of the lipstick shape is derived from the brand logo. The straight lines and inclined lines together form the outline of the shape, but at the same time, it is also hoped that the designed base can stand stably on the countertop for display and storage. Therefore, many adjustments were made to the inclination of the lines and the center of gravity of the entire shape, and finally the state of having a clear inclination angle and stable standing on the table was achieved.
Project Duration
The project started in Shenzhen in August 2021 and completed in Shenzhen in June 2022.
Operation Flow
Because there is a magnet inside, the top cover can be opened by pushing it in the opposite direction, and the operation is simple and convenient. When the top cover and the base are closed, the closure will be accelerated due to the magnetic force, and a sound will be emitted, so that you do not need to manually confirm whether it is closed or not, you only need to hear the sound to confirm.
Research
Carry out in-depth research and analysis on the potential market demand, with innovation as the original intention and the purpose of providing users with more humanized products, to simplify and break the inherent thinking, in line with the aesthetic awareness and inner awareness of contemporary fashionable women, and provide consumers with fresh products. experience. And combined with the characteristics of the brand logo, it continues the brand spirit and has a more recognizable beauty, which also makes the brand more differentiated and competitive.
Inspiration
Inspired by modern architecture, the deconstructionist design technique is applied to the lipstick shape, making it look simple but unique, rational and orderly but sensual and beautiful. The use of simple changes in straight lines achieves an unexpected beauty that makes it unique and distinguishable from traditional lipsticks. We commissioned the factory to customize, using black acrylic material and metal craftsmanship to embed magnets inside, and finally make it into a real object.
