Production Technology
An advanced image editing software is used for the layout design to guarantee a distinct visual hierarchy. Local HD images are chosen as the primary visual component, and the text is precisely arranged and typeset using typography software to ensure the clarity and efficiency of information transmission.
Design Challenge
The key challenge in this poster design lies in making a breakthrough in design without compromising the regional characteristics to differentiate itself in a homogeneous competition. The project team unconventionally uses a mono-color scheme with gradient hues to add image depth, a strategy aimed at readily capturing the public attention and leaving a lasting impression.
Project Duration
The project kicked off on December 2023 in Feixi, wrapped up on January 2024 in Feixi, and posters were placed in March 2024 on outdoor and offline platforms, including bus stop ads in Feixi County.
Operation Flow
The final version of poster is placed to online and physical media platforms for public exposures, the key design elements, such as the layout representing the new energy automobile industry, are seamlessly connected to the highlighted title "Feixi", and other design features stand oout in a similar manner, along with additional elements. These components mark a significant milestone in the effective dissemination of information and building branding identity.
Research
Feixi County, ranked among the top 100 counties nationwide in respect of overall strength and the standing as the first county-level administrative region in Anhui Province with an annual output value hitting RMB 100 billion, has established itself as an appealing tourist destination and industrial hub. With a focus on NEVs as the pillar industry, Feixi has played a pivotal role in developing a full-scale industry chain closed-loop ecosystem.
Inspiration
Multiple perspectives are required to get the panoramic view of a region, for example, an insightful view of economic progress, cultural legacy, geographical setting, society, and humanities. Hence, the guideline underlying this visual design endeavor is to unveil the recent accomplishments in development of Feixi County and its extensive historical and cultural background from diverse perspectives.
Project Overview
Feixi Grand View Poster has been a Iron winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change.
