The opera element is one of the important elements and components in Peng Xiaohang's works. For him, drama is the epitome of oriental culture, permeating the vitality of the nation, containing oriental thoughts and humanistic feelings, which also inspired his thinking about life , Prompting him to express his love for drama with painting creation. His heart is woven with oriental feelings, Chinese style is the appearance of his life, and oil painting is his tool for expressing emotions. Western oil painting is used to express the Chinese national spirit and culture. The rich traditional culture constitutes an inexhaustible art resource for the painter, and transplants the national freehand spirit into oil painting creation. In recent years, his paintings have gradually reduced the depiction of character shapes, simplified the background, made the characters exist in non-specific spaces, emphasized the non-uniqueness of time, and increased the depth of time, making the symbol of the character not cause Time and space are limited. In the process of his continuous creation, the painting language and form content are evolving. Research
