Forest Food Court is a food court located in the office building designed by Famous Japanese architect Kuma Kengo in Beijing. The core concept of the architecture is “Forest in the city.” The branding and the 6m*150m huge wall art emerged from the concept. Delightful graphics and loosing strokes bring a relax, organic yet urban flow through the serious office building. The sub-abstract illustration balanced the atmosphere of the office and avoid of been too childish or cute.

The project started in May 2019 and finished in August 2019 in Beijing.
One-side transparent material has been used for the wall art, as for not sheltering sunshine inside.

Though the building has a concept of city garden and was facing a sunken garden, the atmosphere of the office is a bit serious. So that the client hope to balance the atmosphere with Delightful visuals yet not too childish. Beijing is a city has a long winter. And with a temperate climates, it is hard to see any tropical plants or scenery in the city. We hope the tropical sub-abstract illustration can make people happier. The result is obvious: even the people lives surrounds gathers.
