Graphic elements on both containers were carefully designed to interact and distinguish it from all competitors. The internal cylinder spins when you rotate the lid and the essence and the secrets of nature's innovation are released.

Design Challenge

Combining Nature with innovation.

Project Duration

The packaging system was designed In the summer of 2019, produced from October 2019 to January 2020 and is placed in many pharmacies and selected skincare stores in Greece from March 2020 till now.

Operation Flow

The transparent external container encloses a smaller container highlighting the altitude difference of Crete and also the way Nature's Innovation spreads to the skin. Graphic elements on both containers were carefully designed to interact and distinguish it from all competitors. The internal cylinder spins when you rotate the lid and the essence and the secrets of Nature's Innovation are released.

Research

The brief was to combine nature with science in order to design branding and packaging for a new line of cosmetics. This new line uses herbal extracts and fruits taken from the land of Crete island and the target group is women over 35. The innovation was to depict the land of Crete by manipulating the altitude difference of the fertile soil of Crete by creating the gold concentric curved shapes. Feminine shapes, elegant that simulate part of the land of Crete and in combination with the interaction of the 2 container system creates a unique innovative effect.

Inspiration

The topography and the altitude difference of the fertile soil of Crete were the inspiration for the packaging system design of the series.
