Design Challenge
In the design process, the biggest problem faced by this work is the choice between "the same" and "the different" designs with different themes. As the modern society generally tends to be concise in the commercial aesthetics design, how to choose between conciseness of pictures, IP characterization, recognition and difference of themes has become a great challenge that the design team has to face in design.
Operation Flow
Based on "Duoduo", the protagonist of this diary, the design team integrates four world-famous fairy tales and draw 4 different theme designs with modern painting, which can be flexibly applied to various posters, clothing and related products.
Research
Besides being cute and docile in the eyes of human, rabbit is one of the animals most frequently appearing in fairy tales all over the world. Secondly, in recent years, due to a sensational domestic animation comparing rabbit to Chinese, the element rabbit often carries the metaphor of Chinese/Chinese-made in the network, which coincides with the positioning of the brand.

The Diary is to bring you a more interesting, cute and fashionable personalized IP through the integration of fairy tales and trend culture.
Project Overview
Miepu Diary Ikon has been a Iron winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change. These designs are a testament to the skill and dedication of their creators, showcasing their ability to address real-world challenges through thoughtful design.
