Unique Properties
ReForm Plastic is a Vietnam-based social enterprise dedicated to solving the plastic waste problem, improving the livelihood of informal waste workers and promote circular economy by producing furnitures and boards from recycled plastic waste. The brand identity is built upon the surface texture the plastic boards - so as long as new boards are made, the brand asset library will keep expanding and create a “generative” and cohesive library of design materials to work with.

Design Challenge
The creative challenge for ReForm Plastic's brand identity redesign comes from the fast-growing development of the brand. ReForm Plastic opened their first pilot facility in early 2020 and has been expanding rapidly without a cohesive brand identity - this poses the challenge of redesigning without compromising the brand's image in the public eyes.
Project Duration
The project was started in July 2021 and finished in October 2021.
Inspiration
The design inspiration comes from the goal to create an authentic brand identity that resonates with core values of the brand as well as represents the brand products, combined with a thorough observation of the surfaces of ReForm Plastic boards. Once we know what the design should communicate, how it should be communicated, the design process became much more straight-forward.

Project Overview
ReForm Plastic Brand Identity Design has been a Bronze winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
