The design process was kind of troublesome because of the technical difficulty and cost. Moreover, the designers want to remind the environmental awareness of people through the design.
The project began in September 2018 in Shenzhen, China, and was completed in November 2018 in Shenzhen, China.
The use of eco-friendly wood material for the outside box is non-polluting and degradable; The portable handle design for the tea jar is easy to carry.
Nowadays, people are more materialistic and pursue a high quality of lifestyles and spirits. Tea has been considered as a traditional Chinese drink since ancient time. And the tea culture in China is profound. Designers needed to think about how to turn a traditional tea culture into a contemporary idea.
The project is inspired by the unique geographical environment of Yunnan's production areas. The designers have used the elements of Yunnan's tea gardens, tea trees, tea pickers, and precious animals in the design. The packaging design looks like an elephant's head and presents an ecologically harmonious idea.
