Hainan Province is a famous tourist attraction in the south of China. It has a tropical monsoon climate. Yedao Lugui Baijiu is a well-known brand in Hainan. The idea of producing Yedao Lugui Baijiu is to promote the local characteristics of Hainan. Yedao Lugui Baijiu also conveys Hainan's local tourist culture.

The material of the outside box is acrylic and paper. The technology of the outside box uses a gold stamp and silk printing. The material of the bottle is a glass bottle. The technology of the bottle uses a craft of roasted flower. The cover of the bottle uses plastic cover as material and uses baking gold as technology.
The outcome of box shape design was not ideal in the early stage, as the product details were not well displayed. The design made continuously improved in the later stage. The result of the packaging design seems more prominent in the display effect and shelf placement.
The project started in October 2018 and finished in May 2019 in Shenzhen.
Hainan is a famous tourist attraction with Chinese characteristics. In order to promote Hainan's tourism culture to the public, so the design uses the iconic eight tourist attractions of Hainan on the illustration. The illustration on the front of the bottle seems to directly communicate with the audience. The design tries to impress the audience for spreading the idea of the product.
The research background is about Hainan's tourism culture. After researching on the product market, visiting the field of Hainan, and reading online sources, thus we find the representative scenic spots of Hainan's tourism culture. The design is mainly based on the form of illustration. The design highlights the product features. It also highlights the theme of the tourist product.
The idea of design is to promote local cultural characteristic and tourist culture of Hainan, so the design applies the eight scenic spots of Hainan as a creative idea. The design in order to create an interaction between product, tourist and scenic spot, so those eight famous tourist attractions are presented in illustration form on the face side of the bottle. The design tries to produce an impressive effect to the tourists for spreading the idea of the product. The neck label is distinguished by a different colour. The surface of the outside box is made of transparent acrylic, so the illustration of the product bottle in the inside can be clearly seen. The overall colour of the design is blue with a simple style. It creates a good display effect. The design has the characteristics of Hainan.
