Bar Cabinet for EVA SZUMILAS LTD
The Gong bar cabinet has two sliding doors made of handmade palisander wood marquetry revealing three wooden shelves, dimmable lighting fixed behind mirrored back panel. The round cabinet box is painted black inside and outside. One tempered black glass shelf at the bottom of the cabinet, serves as a structural element enhancing the stability of the cabinet and creates additional storage space. The structure of the cabinet is made of fully loaded brass profiles. The cabinet offers spacious storage space for the battles and glasses. The light turns on automatically when the doors open.

One tempered glass shelf at the bottom of the cabinet, serves as a structural element enhancing the stability of the cabinet and creates additional storage space. The structure and the handles are made of fully loaded brass profiles.

Production Technology
The Gong bar cabinet is made of Palisander wood, solid brass structure oxidized to medium bronze finish, crystal mirror inside the cabinet with integrated LED light and tempered glass shelf.
Project Duration
Gong bar cabinet was designed for a residential project located in Beirut Downtown, executed in November 2019. Production time 2 months.
Inspiration
The Gong cabinet is inspired by Far East culture. The Gong instrument is an attribute of wealth and serves as a status symbol. According to rites it brings fortune and strength. In the rituals of the Far East the Gong has retained its special significance to this day.
Project Overview
Gong Bar Cabinet has been a Silver winner in the Limited Edition and Custom Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
