Portable Speaker for Danish Fuel
The speaker of the future is 79 years old and brand new. Developed from a former World War 2 Wehrmacht Einheits Kanister designed by Vinzenz Grunvogel back in 1937. It's purpose was to supply the troops with gasoline, kerosene, gear oil, diesel and water during World War 2. The small can is now collected from land field and restored by sandblasting and new green color. The design is made to be an independent unit. No app, no software needed. No expiration date. The owner will have funky control over the speaker. Sustainable upcycling in Denmark and made to last a lifetime.

According to the most known brands among portable speakers it´s found that most of them are made by men with a technical background and to approach the hi-fi market rater than the woman who shall use it in their home. There was a gab in the market and we could not find any sustainable solution. A real craftman ship. Most speakers a bulk manufactured in thousand of numbers. To find a speaker that was beyond tech but a sculpture and piece of art did not excist.
The jerry can be designed back in 1937, to contain supplies for the armies. The allies nicknamed the Germans, Jerries, as slang for German. As the small Einheits-kanister was a German invention - thereby the name a jerry can. The allies duplicated the design and just before D-day in 1944 more than 21 million of Jerry cans were made. "Without these cans, it would have been impossible for our armies to cut their way across France at a lightning pace during the German blitz”. - President Roosevelt
