Shuanggou Shengfang is a product of Shuanggou Zhenbaofang series, which pioneered "free blending" in the baijiu industry. The highlight is that the product is divided into two bottles, one large and one small, which can be consumed by consumers either on their own or by blending the small bottle of 68% ABV Virgin liquor into the large bottle of average ABV liquor, resulting in a more flavourful drink. The packaging is decorated with a diamond-shaped gems to symbolize the arranged densely and neatly distilleries, while the feathered fan used by the sages to highlight sages style of the product.

Shuanggou Shengfang is a strategic leading brand created by Jiang Shuanggou Dostillery CO.,LTD. which is a pioneer in the free blending of bottled liquor in China from "consumer interactive experience". The product can be divided into two separate sections, with the upper is a small bottle containing 68% ABV Virgin liquor and the bottom large bottle containing average ABV liquor. The two types of liquor can be enjoyed on their own or blended freely to give a variety of tastes, with stronger aroma and more flavorful taste.

Production Technology
The product has been continuously polished to achieve a breakthrough in the high combination of design, technology and craftsmanship. ①Upper and lower covers + lock: The pioneer structure of ""double-covered chain", the covers are made of ABS and PE material, electroplating rose gold, the covers can be connected and fixed by locking. ②Bottle: small bottle baked with rose gold floral paper, large bottle baked with lithography discoloration paper to enhance anti-counterfeiting, the bottoms of the bottle are sprayed with amber gradient. ③Box: photolithography positioning paper, and adopts scratch-resistant matt film, die-cutting, delicate lamination and other techniques.
Design Challenge
The product existed pain points of "liquor leakage", "internal plug difficult to open". Update plan: The new structure is improved from 3 aspects, the inner plug, lock and bottle: ① replace the inner plug with upper and lower anti-counterfeiting cover to solve the problem of liquor leakage and difficult opening at the source; ② widening lock buckle occlusion area is used to strengthen the bite force; ③ lower the height of the bottle head to reduce the center of gravity of the bottle and enhance stability.

2020-June.2021,Nanjing,Jiangsu The project started in Novermber 2020 in Nanjing,Jiangsu and finished in November 2021, Nanjing, Jiangsu.
Operation Flow
The most important feature of the product is the "free blending", which allows consumers to have a different drinking experience. A bottle of good liquor with two available ABV numbers. For the liquor product, there is bottle with two ABV numbers, a large bottle with average ABV, and a small bottle of 68% ABV. Triple experience: the first is the large bottle of medium ABV which can be enjoyed alone; the second is the bottle of high ABV which should be tasted alone; the third is the small bottle which may be blended with other liquors. Great composure: Wine mellows as it ages. Drink it for a carefree and happy life.
Research
In order to improve the consumer experience, the product has been updated through several generations, keeping the "free blending" feature in mind and constantly solving the problems in time. Consumer recognition of the quality, branding and packaging of the product, as well as our continuous improvement of the product, has led to a sustainable development.
Inspiration
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, distilleries were arranged densely and neatly in Shuanggou Town. When you looked at those massive roofs with a bird's eye view, they were like rhombus gems inlaid on the ground. Shuanggou liquor was also used used as a royal tribute to officials at that time. This is where the idea for the packaging came from, and the design incorporates elements of the gems and the sages' feathered fans to recreate the glory of the past.
Project Overview
Shuang Gou Sheng Fang Alcoholic Beverage Packaging has been a Bronze winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
