This is a product packaging designed for premium anti-wrinkle essence. It draws inspiration from Taihu Lake stone, which features wrinkled, leaky, thin, and transparent, with the concept of time flow embedded in, showing the collision of high technology and traditional aesthetics of Jiangnan. By delicately carving the bottle, the design team shows the natural and unadorned beauty sculpted by time and conveys the product's efficacy in firming skin, preventing aging, and shaping young body lines.

The design team has adopted amber and beeswax bottles based on the efficacy of the products, so that users can quickly know the functions by appearance and color. The concave and convex texture gives the bottle a lake stone like visual effect, showing the long sculpted natural beauty. It is an organic integration of fashion craftsmanship and traditional aesthetics, with a modern technology of electroplating gradients to create a time flowing technological highlight on the packaging surface.
The main challenge in developing the product was to put the features of irregular texture and shape of the Taihu Lake stone to the bottle. The irregular shape could easily make the bottle lose its center of gravity and appear less inviting. Starting from the commonality between the structure of the Taihu Lake stone and the bottle, and incorporating the positioning of brand from the aesthetics of Jiangnan skin, the design team achieves a delicate balance after thousands of attempts.
The product was established and developed in Jiangsu, China in October 2021 and listed in Jiangsu, China in September 2022.
The concept of product time carving is conveyed through the bottle. By shaping after the wrinkled, leaky, thin and transparent Taihu Lake stone, it gives the product a unique texture. When users observe the product from different angles, the bottle will show different visual effects due to the concave and convex texture and the refraction of metal. The irregular and hand friendly shape enhances the experience of user from vision to touch, building connections between multiple senses.
Taihu Lake Stone is known as one of the top four wondrous stones in China, and is one of the important aesthetic symbols of traditional Chinese culture. This series of packaging incorporates the Taihu Lake Stone into the design of the bottle, which conveys the classical Chinese art of stone appreciation in a modern aesthetic and expression, allowing the users of world to experience the traditional Chinese culture, and also reviving and carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture.
The design is derived from the first of the four wondrous stones in China: Taihu Lake Stone (an important aesthetic symbol of traditional Chinese culture), which features wrinkled, leaky, thin, and transparent. Its unique irregular beauty fits with the concept of sculpting time and reshaping skin. In this way, the design team presents the unique beauty of time flow, which also echoes the efficacy in preventing aging, firming skin, and shaping young body lines.
Misifu Yueyan Serum Packaging has been a Bronze winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality.
