Unique Properties
Our "Eastern Mechanical Aesthetics" design merges wood, paper, leather, fabric, and alloy materials, symbolizing "Tiger in the Forest, Beast in the Cage." This embodies courage, exploration, and loyalty of the "CHICHENG" symbol. The cover features an intaglio-printed "Tiger Token," historically awarded by Chinese emperors, representing courage and protection. Paying homage to pioneers, it inspires unwavering determination. The packaging aligns with core principles, emphasizing "daily use" to harness time's power. Both product and packaging subtly evolve, guiding users to face life positively.

Production Technology
Implemented through laser engraving, enhancing elegance and security for high-volume production while reducing labor costs. Our packaging follows traditional Chinese "mortise and tenon" design, ensuring easy assembly, disassembly, and efficient storage. Support legs have discreet limit functions, allowing secure stacking, maximizing storage space and product stability.
Design Challenge
1. Pioneering packaging aesthetics and methodologies. 2. Innovative packaging materials and structural design. 3. Universal consideration of both keepsakes (for collectibles) and jewelry (for social interaction). 4. High emotional resonance between products and packaging, fostering deep user empathy.
Project Duration
The project started in July 2023 in Shenzhen and was completed in December 2023, also in Shenzhen.
Operation Flow
Our design improves unboxing with integrated product labels and convenient handles, offering cost-effective and versatile solutions, including a packaging chain doubling as a jewelry necklace. It includes a comprehensive materials package featuring a genuine leather storage bag, eco-friendly coaster, and multifunctional stand for various user needs.
Research
The brand introduces the concept of "Rust Aesthetics," which emphasizes the unique beauty that emerges between objects and materials after experiencing the passage of time and oxidation. The brand's packaging captures these traces of time, symbolizing the item's journey and providing inspiration for contemplation and life.
Inspiration
"Prominent Chicheng" Token Jewelry draws inspiration from Chinese bronze culture. It features the 'Patina Aesthetic' as a symbol of heritage and resonates with the 'Tiger Token' culture to evoke a sense of emotional identity. Through the use of innovative materials and traditional craftsmanship, a collection of bronze pieces, embodying Eastern wisdom of bravery, exploration, and loyalty, is crafted. These pieces serve as tokens for both collection and social adornment.
