Production Technology

According to the characteristics of rock tea, we use a relatively strong ceramic pot as its packaging material. It neither chemically reacts with tea nor absorbs the tea fragrance of rock tea, and it can make the fragrance of rock tea exude to a greater extent. Regarding the appearance of the tea pot, we have made a streamlined design to form a combination device between the pot body and the lid body, so that the pot body with a cavity and the lid body set on the pot body are fitted with each other to facilitate closing and opening. The effect of.

Design Challenge

n designing the appearance of this product, we redefine and design it in order to better distinguish it from the appearance of the conventional popular tea cans. From the black porcelain tank body, streamlined bottle body, to the mouth design, the length, width, height, details and material of the tea tank, etc. All re-adjusted and changed to create a tea pot appearance that more in line with our definition and meaning.

Project Duration

The project started in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China in January 2020 and will be completed in March 2020.

Operation Flow

"Qingjing Tea" is a unique tea product. In the era of saturated products with touch screens, we are committed to exploring practical interactions. By considering appropriate processing techniques and production methods, we can better let people feel the taste of Chinese tea. Zen has a lingering charm, and it feels pure and pure when watching and tasting tea.

Research

Research methods: market research, clarify design goals, design directions, and material functions, etc. According to the survey, sketching is carried out. Improve and product modeling, and finally select products and product colors suitable for consumer consumption for product rendering output. In the early stage of the design, we conducted a lot of ink and wash experiments, and in the later stage we mainly used Ps, Ai, Maya, C4D and other software.

Inspiration

We are working on a packaging design for Chinese rock tea, named Qingjing Tea. Quiet English is Meditation, meaning meditation and meditation. Qingjing tea is taken from the word "Qingjing" in the Qingjing Jing. "Introspection of its heart, heart without its heart. Appearance of its shape, shape without its shape" is selected from the Qingjing Jing. Dieyin and Buddhism are related through static. The works present different perspective effects through different perspectives.
