Mid Autumn Festival is a very special festival in China. On this festival, everyone will give friends what they think is good. In the design, a beautiful combination of blue and gold, a pale golden moon pattern and beautiful blessing words are used to construct a whole figure, which represents perfection and reunion. Open the box, there are eight metal boxes with tea in them. Eight boxes correspond to eight moon shapes. There is a full moon in the middle, which represents the meaning of hope reunion.

Production Technology

how to make the product conform to modern international aesthetics while retaining the ancient Chinese traditional elements.

The project started in January 2021 in Beijing and finished in August 2021 in Beijing.
Operation Flow
At that time, eight shapes and eight shape names of the ancient moon corresponded to eight cans of tea.
Research
Adding the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture in ancient times into the design can make more people understand our Mid-Autumn Festival culture.
Inspiration
In China, the moon can be represented by gold, while in the sky, I use International Klein Blue. The whole tea box is a circle, which means reunion in China. The box for storing tea inside is filled with eight metal cans. These eight metal cans embody the eight shapes of the moon.

Mid Autumn Festival Gift Tea Packaging has been a Bronze winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality.
